Committee Meetings

  • Public Policy Committee
Special Time for April 29, 2003:
Due to the urgency and critical importance of the Romney proposals, the Public Policy Committee and the Board will switch their usual times. Public Policy Committee will meet from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, while the Board will meet from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
Date/Time/Location: Regular Meetings are on the same date as dinner meetings, from 2:30 PM to 4:15 PM, at the same location (but not the same room) as the dinner meeting. Occasionally additional meetings may be held or the time/location of a regular meeting may have to be altered. To stay up to date, watch this space or the listserv.
    Chair: Susan Levin
Purpose: To identify and thoroughly understand hot issues of the day facing the elderly and elderlaw attorneys in Massachusetts, determine whether a response or action by the Committee or the Chapter is appropriate, and to formulate that response.
Committee Membership: Open to any member of MA NAELA with an interest in issues of public policy. This Committee offers perhaps the deepest level of involvement and commitment to elder law in Massachusetts available anywhere. Watch the listserv for a current agenda of each upcoming meeting.
